About Us

No, it's not a dance, but the festival does include dancing!

Since 1992 The FoxTrot Board has been planning & producing this fun way to pay tribute to Marion's history and heritage.  We are named for the S.C. Revolutionary War Hero General Francis Marion, nicknamed "The Swamp Fox."

Make plans now to "trot" on over this May in Historic Downtown Marion for the 30th Anniversary! The setting for this festival on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 includes a 10 a.m. parade, arts and crafts, food vendors, cars and tractors show, amusements, a petting zoo and pony rides. A street dance, with live music rounds out Saturday's events.

The preceding Friday night includes a spectacular fireworks show for the entire family to jump start the Saturday fun!  Fridays of FoxTrot weekend is reserved for the youth with entertainment from magic shows, story-tellers galore all centered around our youth. The 3rd Saturday in May, come "FoxTrot" with us!
